Lucy
Roberts has been involved in the medical profession for 34 years.
She started out volunteering in a local hospital as a teenager,
progressed to a part-time position in Dr. Ruddy's office as a
medical assistant through her high school years. She graduated
with honors in Nursing from Sacramento City College and pursued a
career as a RN in Intensive Care in pediatric, neonatal and
adult settings. Later she joined the Air Force Reserves and
served for 8 years as an Aeromedical Evacuation Flight Nurse
retiring with the rank of Captain. Realizing that her intuitive side
needed developing she obtained her Master's in Traditional Chinese
Medicine from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, CA. She
completed her internship in acupuncture and herbology at the
Zhejiang TCM Hospital in Hongzhou, China. It was in China where she
became interested in the Medical Qigong aspect of Traditional
Chinese Medicine.
